Types of Orthodontic Appliances

The team at Ellingsen Smiles is proud to offer several different types of orthodontic appliances beyond traditional braces and clear aligners. For people who want to treat their overbite without committing to long-term care plans, we have got you covered. Listed below are just a few of the options we have available. To learn more about any of these, contact us and set up your appointment today.

AcceleDent® Aura

Do you want to improve the look of your smile, but does the thought of spending years in braces seem out of reach? With AcceleDent Aura, you can now speed your tooth movement by up to 50%! Using this fast, safe, and easy-to-use appliance, you'll be finished with your orthodontic treatment and achieve your desired smile faster!

AcceleDent Aura is safe as demonstrated in U.S. clinical trials. Cleared by the United States Food and Drug Administration, AcceleDent is only available by prescription from your orthodontist.

Forsus™

The Forsus Fatigue Resistant Device promotes growth in adolescents, helping to eliminate excessive overbites, improve the fit of teeth, and possibly prevent the need for corrective jaw surgery. Your Forsus appliance is installed in one appointment and doesn't require any additional lab work, so you won't have to wait to begin your treatment. There are no daily adjustments to make because the appliance provides a continuous, light force to move your jaw and teeth into their correct positions. It sits in the back of your mouth, so no one will even notice it's there.

PROPEL Orthodontics

We are excited to offer accelerated orthodontic treatment with PROPEL Orthodontics! This state-of-the-art technology speeds up tooth movement, and though every patient’s situation is different, many can now have their orthodontic treatment completed in less than a year. PROPEL can be used for approximately 80% of patients receiving orthodontic treatment and can be used in conjunction with any treatment type, including TADs, clear aligners, clear braces, and conventional metal braces. Simpli5™

Simpli5 is a revolutionary new system of aligners designed to correct minor imperfections in about five to six months. Each set of aligners is customized to fit your mouth and to give you the smile you've always wanted. Simpli5 aligners are designed to correct minor crowding or spacing, and to realign teeth that have already received orthodontic treatment.
