Meet Dr. Ron Ellingsen, DDS
Since an early age, Dr. Ron had always dreamed of becoming an orthodontist like his father. He loves getting to know his patients and their families, as well as making a difference in their lives by giving them beautiful smiles.
Education
Dr. Ron received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1985 from Washington State University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989 and Master of Science Degree with a certificate in Orthodontics in 1991, both from the University of Washington. He also participates in continuing education courses year-round so that he can stay current with the latest technology and orthodontic treatments.
Dr. Ron feels that his patients deserve the best, and his devotion to learning allows him to provide them with more options and better results. He is also a member of these professional associations:

Professional Work
In 2021, Dr. Ron celebrated his 30th year in the practice and loves it more than ever. He loves what he does and having the opportunity to share the benefits of a beautiful smile with his patients. It is a pleasure to watch our younger patients grow and to build connections with their families. Our practice is honored that we have been chosen by these wonderful patients to take them on their journey to a beautiful smile.

Our team helps build a warm, friendly, and caring environment where you will always be greeted with bright, welcoming smiles. They are committed to furthering their training so that they stay current with the latest technology. Simply put, our staff makes our patients smile throughout their orthodontic journey!
Family & Community
Dr. Ron grew up in Spokane and feels blessed to be able to serve the families of his community. He and his wife Patty have been married since 1985 and have four children who are graduates of the Mead public school system. He is proud that his three daughters have followed in his footsteps and graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, while his son has forged his own path and graduated with a Construction Management degree from Washington State University. When he isn’t running his business, Dr. Ron can be found playing golf, tennis, or spending time with his family.
From sponsoring individual patients and funding many Mead School District's events, Dr. Ron believes in giving back to the community in which he grew up and where he now practices orthodontics. He has supported numerous schools, patients, AAU sports, and charitable organizations in the Greater Spokane area throughout the years and is actively involved with the Spokane Cleft Lip and Palate Organization where Dr. Ron works with a variety of specialists on very rewarding cases.
